Easter and Savanah's Birthday

We had a good Easter. Although it was a little rainy. The kids had fun decorating the eggs, I told them they might be getting a little to old to be doing easter egg hunts, but Savanah said no way! She said she will want to do it even when she is a teenager! We will see about that! Anyway, it was fun.

For Savanah's Birthday, we just had a small party with just us. We plan to have a bigger one this summer when it warms up. She did get a pair of really neat spurs from her grandparnts, which she loves!! And she got some money, so she is going to buy some boots to go with those spurs. As you can see from all the pictures, Savanah is my little ham. She loves to have her pictures taken!
Well, thats it for now....

Finally Blogging

I have been wanting to blog forever, but never have the time. So here goes..

We are a busy family of four.

Michael works at Kimball International, he works as a controls specialist/computer programmer. He builds machines that makes office furniture. In the last 7 years, he has had to switch professions. He went from working in telecom to becoming a computer programmer. He is a certified Labview developer. With many manufacturing plants around the country shutting down, Michael and his team have been developing machines that are able to keep cost down and be more efficient. If it was not for his team, his company would also be closing.

Michael likes to spend his free time playing drums in his band. This is another of his skills that amazes me, he is so talented! As soon as they have a good recording, I will post it......He also enjoys snowboarding....something I am beginning to do also. Here is a picture of him on the mountain.

Quinn is 10 years old and in 5th grade, he likes to fish and do anything his dad is doing. He does enjoy putting things together, he defiantly has inherited the Everett technical brains. We are so proud of him, he does really good in school, his favorite subject is Science. He says that he wants to be a Scientist. And I think he will. This is a picture of Quinn right after he got his Hall of Excellence certificate. The video following is Quinn's first performance with his recorder. This is something new this year, his class was very nervous! Quinn is such a good big brother, even though sometimes he looses his patience with Savanah, but he also takes really good care of her!

Savanah just turned 9 and she is in 3rd grade. She is our little actress, comedian, singer and dancer. She is very athletic, and loves to do everything her brother and dad are doing. She also is doing very good in school, math is her favorite subject. She loves horses, and dreams of owning her own.Savanah is such a daddy's girl, her favorite part of the day is to give her daddy a hug and kiss before he goes to work. She and I are the best of friends. I am very thankful for our beautiful little girl!

Now about me, I keep myself busy with running my own bookkeeping business. It has taken awhile to get clients. As of right now I have 3, that keeps me busy. I also work at the kids school, I work at the reception desk part time. On Tuesdays, I work in Quinn's classroom. I enjoy working with the kids, and I feel more a part of their lives. The rest of my time is spent keeping our house in order. I did try snowboarding a few weekends ago, my tailbone is still sore!! But I had fun, and next year I intend to get to the point were I can go down the mountain without falling.

I am very thankful for our lives, there are so many people out there loosing everything. God has been faithful. He has blessed us with two healthy, beautiful children. And a father and husband that takes care of everything we need. I have to say, life is good.....

I will write more later, and post more up to date pictures.
